I completed my profile, but nothing happened

Once you complete your profile, the Data Broker Removal scan starts right away. It typically takes up to 5 days to fully complete.

During this time, our system is thoroughly checking data broker databases for any records containing your personal information and preparing removal requests on your behalf. You'll receive a notification as soon as the scan is finished.

What to Do in the Meantime

To get the most out of Control+ while the scan is running, make sure your other protections are active. Head to the Home screen and check Your services:

• 🛡️ Identity Protection — monitors the dark web for exposures linked to your email and phone number.
• 📞 Call Protection — blocks spam and fraudulent calls before they reach you (iOS & Android).
• ✉️ SMS Protection — filters suspicious and fraudulent text messages (iOS only).

Any feature showing Inactive or Set up needs your attention for full protection.
