How to troubleshoot games that are not loading ads on an iPhone

Some games rely on advertising content to unlock rewards, extra lives, or certain features. If ads cannot load, the game may appear to freeze or stop progressing.

Try the Following Steps

1. Close and reopen the game.
2. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet.
3. Check the App Store or Google Play for updates to the game.
4. Restart your phone.
5. If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the game. Make sure your game progress is saved first.

Check Browsing Protection

Control+ does not directly manage how individual games serve advertisements. However, Browsing Protection checks the web addresses your phone connects to. In rare cases, an ad network used by a game may be rated risky or dangerous and blocked. To check:

1. Turn Browsing Protection off temporarily in the Control+ app.
2. Reopen the game and try loading the ad again.
3. If it now works, turn Browsing Protection back on and contact our support team with the game's name, so we can review it.
