To get the most out of Control+, it's important to complete your profile with accurate information. This allows us to protect you effectively and carry out data removal requests on your behalf.

📱 How Do I Complete My Profile?

1. Open the Control+ app.
2. Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter your name, email address, phone number, postal code or home address, and date of birth or age.
4. Turn on Call Protection and Data Leak Monitoring.
5. When prompted, allow the permissions the app requests.
6. Restart your phone once after enabling the protection features.

📌 What Information Do I Need to Provide?

When completing your profile, you'll be asked to add:

• Email Address
• Date of Birth / Age
• Phone Number
• Home Address

This information is required for the Data Broker Removal process, as many data brokers need verified details to process removal requests.

⏳ When Will Protection Start Working?

Data removal and spam reduction are gradual. Data brokers may take several days or weeks to process removal requests, and scammers can continue using new or spoofed numbers. Call Protection helps identify and filter suspicious calls after it is enabled, but it may not stop every unwanted call immediately.
