Which Browsers Does Browsing Protection Cover?

Browsing Protection checks the websites you open on the phone or iPad where Control+ is installed. It works on both Wi-Fi and mobile data, and in Private / Incognito tabs.

🍏 iPhone & iPad

• All browsers — Safari, Chrome and any other browser you use
• In-app browsers — when you open a link inside apps like Instagram or Facebook

🤖 Android

Browsing Protection works with most browsers, including:

• Google Chrome
• Google Search app
• Samsung Internet
• Firefox
• Microsoft Edge
• Opera and Opera GX
• Brave
• Mi Browser (Xiaomi)

Some less common browsers may not be supported. If you notice that websites aren't being checked in your browser, contact our support team and tell us which browser you use.

❌ Not Covered

• Laptops and desktop computers
• Devices where Control+ is not installed

💡 iPhone Tip

On iPhone, a Private DNS setting or a VPN app that provides its own DNS can conflict with Browsing Protection. Make sure Control+ is selected under Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → DNS. On Android, Browsing Protection works alongside other VPN and DNS apps.
