How to Turn Off Call Silencing?

Control+ is designed to filter spam and fraudulent calls, not legitimate ones. If a call you wanted to receive didn't come through, it may have been flagged as suspicious. Add that number to your Unblocked Phone Numbers list so it always rings through. If all incoming calls stopped ringing or you cannot hear calls, restart your phone and temporarily turn Call Protection off and then back on to check whether the issue is related to the feature.

Steps to Unblock a Number

  1. Open the Control+ app.
  2. Select Unblocked Phone Numbers.
  3. Tap Add Phone Number to Allowlist and enter the number you want to allow.

Once saved, that number will no longer be blocked and future calls from it will ring as normal. If Control+ blocked a legitimate number, provide the number to support so it can be reviewed and whitelisted. For important calls from an unknown number, temporarily turn off Call Protection in the app; this allows all calls through until you turn protection back on.

Why Not Just Turn Off Protection?

Turning off Call Protection entirely would leave you exposed to spam calls, phishing attempts, and fraudulent calls designed to steal personal or financial information.
By adding trusted numbers to your Unblocked list instead, you get the best of both worlds — protection from spam while making sure important calls always get through.
