A Website Was Blocked — What Should I Do?
If a website opens as a blank page and you receive a notification from Control+, Browsing Protection rated the site dangerous (red) and blocked it to protect your data and device.
✅ What We Recommend
- Don't try to get around the block. In most cases the website is a phishing or scam site — even if it looks like a company you know.
- If you reached the site from a text, email or social media message, don't reply to the sender and don't click other links from them.
- If you already entered information on a similar site, change the affected passwords and contact your bank if you shared card or bank details.
🔓 If You're Sure the Website Is Safe
You can allowlist it so it loads. See How to Allowlist (Unblock) a Website. Please also let our support team know so we can review the rating.
❓ The Page Is Blank but I Didn't Get a Notification
Check that notifications are allowed for Control+ in your phone settings. You can also see recent website alerts in the app under Home → Browsing Protection. If a website is blank but Control+ didn't block it, the problem may be with the website itself. Try another website, or see Websites Won't Load or Load Slowly With Browsing Protection On.
