# My Phone Number Is Not Accepted

If you're having trouble entering your phone number, don't worry — this is a common issue and usually easy to fix.

## Why This Happens
* **Incorrect format:** Make sure you're entering your number in the correct international format (e.g., +1 for the US, +44 for the UK).
* **Extra characters or spaces:** Remove any spaces, dashes, or special characters unless the app specifically allows them.
* **Unsupported number type:** We only accept mobile numbers — landlines and VoIP numbers are not supported.

## What You Can Do
* **Check the number format:** Include your country code and avoid extra symbols.
* **Restart the app:** Closing and reopening the app can resolve temporary glitches.
* **Try another device:** Sometimes the issue is specific to the device you're using.
* **Contact support:** Send us a message with your country code and the number you're trying to use — we'll review it and help you get it set up.
