# I Entered the Wrong Phone Number – What Should I Do?

If you entered the wrong phone number during setup, don't worry — you can easily update it directly in the Control+ app. Having the correct number is important to ensure you receive security alerts, identity protection updates, and other essential notifications.

## How to Edit Your Phone Number
1. Open the Control+ app and go to the **Profile** tab.
2. Select **Account**.
3. Under the **Phone** section, tap **Edit Phone Number**.
4. Enter your correct number and tap **Confirm**.
Once confirmed, your phone number will be updated in the system.
