# How to Remove a Family Member

You can remove a family member from your plan at any time directly within the app.

## How to Remove a Family Member
1. Open the Control+ app and tap **Family** in the bottom navigation menu.
2. Select the family member you want to remove.
3. Tap **Remove Member** and confirm your decision.

Repeat these steps for each family member you want to remove. Once removed, that member will lose access to Control+ protection immediately. Their seat will become available and you can invite a new family member at any time.

> ⚠️ **Please note:** Removing a family member will stop all active protection and data broker removal requests running on their behalf. This action cannot be undone — if you'd like to add them back, you'll need to send them a new invitation.
