# How to Secure Your TikTok Profile from Unauthorized Changes

If someone is changing your TikTok profile without permission, secure the account using TikTok’s own security settings. Control+ does not manage TikTok profiles or prevent changes inside other apps.

1. **Change your TikTok password immediately.** Use a strong, unique password that you do not use for other accounts.
2. **Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)** in TikTok settings. This adds an extra security step when someone tries to sign in.
3. **Check your login activity** in your TikTok account settings. Review where your account is signed in and, if you see anything suspicious, log out of all devices.
4. **Report the user** who changed your profile. Use TikTok’s **Report** feature from that user’s profile.

Control+ can help protect personal data, block scam websites, monitor the dark web, and stop phishing messages, but account-level changes in TikTok must be handled through TikTok’s security and reporting tools.
